Now operating in Arkansas, with 300-400 wet ton/day facilities under development in the Atlanta area, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. Griffin Residuals builds and operates Regional Biosolids Processing Facilities (RBPF) that solve the costly and complex problems associated with sludge disposal. With management's experience in the design and implementation of dozens of drying facilities, Griffin Residuals eliminates municipalities' capital and technology risks by providing the capital and operating costs for sustainable biosolids solutions.
RBPF Development
Griffin Residuals provides the capital, installs and operates regional residuals processing facilities that de-risk the financial and technology challenges of sludge/biosolids/residuals handling. We can operate your drying facilities or develop and operate the solution for you.
Drying-as-a-Service
Bring your sludge to us. We will convert it to sustainable dried solids for nutrient recovery. GR RBPF's eliminate exorbitant disposal expenses and enable municipalities to avoid costly capital projects with long-term off-take agreements.
Inverting the Nutrient Cycle
In 2023, Griffin Residuals installed its first RBPF in Arkansas. GR enabled our client to avoid a $40MM, budgeted dryer installation. The Class A solids from the site go to regional farmers.

We locate our facilities at partnering municipalities and convert their biosolids management costs into a profit center. At GR, we build abundant capacity (300-400 wet tons daily) into these sites to promote the processing of regional WWTP biosolids under Drying-as-a-Service contracts. Industry and municipalities are continuing to see disposal rates rise. Griffin Residuals supplies the capital, installation and operation of advanced residuals processing equipment. Under Drying-as-a-Service agreements, our clients pay a per ton fee for processing and distribution of the resulting Class A residuals. It is that simple.
The GR solution diverts hundreds of tons per day of wet sludge from landfills and promotes nutrient recovery.
